Throw Sand On It You must throw sand on the fire Cause if you touch it brother it will burn you Advice from a voice that rises fout of my conscience which has arrived now as an example of maturity but inside me you know there is a small war sometimes I prefer to burn with another and forget the sand Then I hear that voice . . . You must throw sand on the fire Cause if you touch it brother it will burn you Where ever I place my eyes temptation is walking I don’t know if its fantasy or the spark of attraction the rules are blurred and for one minute I return to adolesence until Im saved by that voice of my protection Listen to what it says You must throw sand on the fire Cause if you touch brother you will burn Throw Sand On It Who will pay the broken dishes???

Puente A Mi Gente Si yo pudiera armar un puente de alma y de corazon fuera mas largo que noventa millas sencillo en construccion de base fe y apoyo al hermano con deseo de respirar el aire puro y renovador de un mar en libertad agrego tablas de humor que es nuestro y sobra alla o aqui al fin de un dia de mucho sudor sirvo un plato e congri y cuando llegue el momento esperado de hacer la connecion forajamos una acera de clave de costa a costa un son Coro 1 un puente a mi gente Coro 2 Baila y goza en el puente Bridge To My People If I could build a bridge of spirit and heart It would be longer than 90 miles and simple in construction The Base would be help to the brother with a desire to breathe the pure and invigorating air of an ocean at liberty I would add bricks of humor which is ours naturally and in excess there and here at the end of a work day Id serve a plate of congri And when the moment arrives to make the anticipated connection We’d pave a road of Clave From coast to coast a Son

Puerco Robao 03:39
Puerco Robao Antiguamente los campesinos hacian guateque y era la gracia de la cumbancha un puerco robao cuando el tresero sentia el aroma de la cocina tocaba un son que retumbava por la campiña y hasta el sinsonte venia volando para comer pero la fiesta se complicaba en algun momento cuando llegaba el dueño del puerco a cumbanchar se le servia a el primero la mejor posta los changuiseros aremetian al quiribao para que nunca se diera cuenta que le han robao Puerco Robao yo no quiero Puerco Robao Stolen Pig A long time ago the country people had guateques(big party) and the kick of the party was a stolen pig when the tres player smelled the aroma from the kitchen he played a son which reverberated across the valley and even the songbirds came flyin to get a bite But the festivity was complicated at some moment when the owner of the pig would arrive ready to party they served him a plate of the best piece of the pig so he wouldn’t figure out that he had been robbed Stolen Pig I don’t want Stolen Pig

about

"AY! Que Rico" is a Cuban saying which means "Ooh it's so good!". Consisting of 11 original songs based on traditional Cuban son, mambo , and cha cha it is Jose Conde's first album and was recorded with his "Ola Fresca" band and released in 2004. Songs from Ay! Que Rico have been licensed and distributed worldwide on Putumayo, Universal and Rough Guide compilations. A remix and Jose Conde rewrite of the song "El Clasificado" (track 4) became a Youtube viral hit as "Respondele" during the US Presidential election of 2008. Jose Conde is currently working on a new album and performs and tours regularly. Current info at www.olafresca.com.

"Simply Smoking" original Cuban Roots debut with Jazz, Funk, and Brazilian seasoning produced by Jose Conde and mixed by 13 time Grammy winner Jon Fausty. - Judy Cantor Miami New Times

"grouping of Afro-Cuban genre songs is held steady and in perfect harmony under the direction of Mr. Conde and his superb band. The timba inflections on "El Clasificado," the intoxicating coro on "Tira La Tierra," the fiery and jazzy "El Bombo" (described an "ensalada de samba con salsa, son y descarga") and the big-band feel of "Bolitas De Arroz Con Pollo" all serve Mr. Conde, the lyricist, well.
This is an unusual record, and although it does make ample use of tradition, it is non-traditional in most respects." Descarga.com
